Painting has always been an intuitive process for me. The intense visions granted in meditation seem to have a life of their own, urging to be birthed through me, guiding my heart as it extends into my hands. 

I incorporate living, organic materials like tree bark, moss & lichen into my art because it bridges the gap between the natural & the man-made. Creating becomes a collaboration between elemental forces & the manifestations we grant them. I view it as activating a piece of art with the life-force of the forest – granting physicality to the world that the artist creates from within.
